What is different about writing, designing and directing across media? This session delves into techniques and obstacles faced during the concept development, production and ongoing release phase of transmedia projects. It will cover the process of extending an existing property as well as conceiving of a transmedia-native property. Both highly dispersed forms like alternate reality games where one story is told across many media, and projects that involve many stories across multiple media (eg franchises) will be discussed.
