Transmedia is, up to now, the edge in the « convergence culture ». According to Henri Jenkins, Transmedia is « storytelling across multiple forms of media with each element making distinctive contributions to a fan’s understanding of the story world ». Pervasive and ubiquitous contents that rely  on several communication channel and user generated contents is probably the future of all media from press to games. So the emerging of transmedia is a revolution both from the point of view of  contents creation, production and economy. Marseille can play a leading role in this revolution. TIMM forecast this leading position and the opening of the school of « Transmedia and Intelligent city » in Marseille.
