When a video game is developed the designers must try and answer every question before the game is released. Even when we fail, we still can have days, even weeks, before we release an update to remedy any lapses in our design. The Case of the Panicked Mechanic, The Case of the Disappearing Den, The Case of the Cantankerous Coca-Cola Crew and other mysteries, will illustrate how telling transmedia stories in real-time in the real world often demands instantaneous solutions to unforeseen problems: an entire new level of writing and design challenges.
