After a long career in Hollywood as a writer-producer Lee has had an equally long career writing and designing over 20 video games, including several transmedia games. His book Character Development and Storytelling for Games is required reading at many developers and in game design programs at some of the world’s most distinguished universities. He is co-director of the Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is also design consultant and lead writer on the Star Trek: Infinite Space game, and has written a new book, The Multiplayer Classroom, both due out this year.
Ranked by the Princeton Review as among the top 15 out of 150 undergraduate game design programs in the United States and Canada, the Rensselaer Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences program offers concentrations in game design, digital storytelling, programming, digital graphics, audio, human computer interaction, artificial intelligence, cognition and psychology.
