Traditional media PUSHES content to viewers, the Web PULLS users into content and process.  This talk will explore the implications of this difference, as well as the consequences for trans-media efforts. Examples will be provided from Whyville.net, the game and simulation-based virtual world for Tweens Dr. Bower established in 1999, which today has over 7 MM registered users worldwide.
